‘The Archers’ - BBC Radio 4 - August 2022

While I was gearing up to celebrate my birthday in mid-July, the country was sweltering under quite staggering, record-breaking temperatures. Little did I realise that I was about to get a surprise call to come in and record a last minute episode on the worlds longest-running drama of any type ‘The Archers’, what a lovely birthday treat!!
I played a character called Shelley who was a volunteer at the food bank where Tracy Horrobin (Susie Riddell) had been forced to visit when she had fallen a victim of circumstances.
I was delighted that the episode was chosen by the award-winning journalist and former BBC correspondent, Barnie Choudhury as one of his BBC Radio 4’s Picks of the Week!!
